OUT THERE

CANADA GOOSE | OUT THERE

An interactive film that shined a light on the heritage of the world’s trendiest outerwear.

Despite being one of the trendiest fashion brands on the planet in 2017, Canada Goose had a rich, 60-year legacy that few knew about. “Out There” was created to tell that story, contextualizing the fashion credibility of the brand with the undeniable functional capabilities that survivalists have depended on for decades.

The film (below) and corresponding interactive experience (case study above) sat at the center of a global campaign, including social, digital, print, and OOH in key global cities. In collaboration with Oscar-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis, the film weaved together a series of stories inspired by the real life actions of athletes, adventurers, survivalists and more who owe their lives to the Canada Goose jackets they wore on their expeditions.

The interactive experience allowed viewers to dive deeper into the biographies of these impressive Goose People through audio clips and photography sourced from the real explorers who inspired the film.

The four-minute film collected over 18-million views, and the viewers spent an average of over nine-minutes exploring the film’s interactive experience.
